About Katie
I am an accredited Mental Health Social Worker offering online video or telephone counselling for individuals, particularly those experiencing symptoms of anxiety and relationship stress.
I specialise in working with those experiencing:
Anxiety & depression (including panic disorders, pre- and post-natal experiences of anxiety and/or depression, workplace stress, difficulties with self-esteem, the mental load of motherhood and more general relationship stress)
Parenting and/or relationship stress (including parents having difficulty understanding and responding to their children's challenging behaviours, family conflict, burn out and communication)
Marriage/Couple Counselling (including pre-marital counselling, difficulties with communication, conflict and connection)
Foster care (I have a particular passion to support those who are caring for vulnerable children in foster care. If you are a registered carer, I offer discounted rates)
Grief & loss (including the loss of loved ones, miscarriage, divorce, loss of work and relocation)
Parent coaching & groups
I offer a 6 session clinical parenting program called The Parent Hope Project for parents with a child/young person who is struggling with significant mental, developmental and behavioural challenges.
I also offer a 4 session group program Confident Parent Course for organisations, churches, community based groups for a broader spectrum of parental challenges.

About Me:
I live in the Lower Blue Mountains with my husband and two young daughters. I enjoy cooking, gardening, camping and reading. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked in the music industry and still hold a passion for music and creativity.
